Acid staining is a completely different process from our flake polyaspartic systems. Instead of broadcasting color onto the surface, an acid stain reacts chemically with the lime content in your concrete, permanently etching translucent, variegated color into the slab itself. The result is a rich, mottled, marbled look โ closer to natural stone or leather than a painted floor โ and because the color comes from a chemical reaction rather than a pigment applied on top, no two acid-stained floors ever turn out exactly alike.
We finish every acid-stained floor with a durable, professional-grade sealer for stain resistance, sheen, and day-to-day protection. It's a great option for homeowners who want a more natural, upscale look than a flake floor โ inside living areas, basements, and entries, as well as covered patios and porches.
A sample of real acid-stained concrete around the Lake of the Ozarks โ every one a different color story.
